MARVETO is developing an independent comparison service supported in the future by transparent commercial partnerships.
Affiliate links
When a merchant partner approves MARVETO, some outbound links may become affiliate links. If a visitor makes a qualifying purchase, the merchant or affiliate network may pay MARVETO a commission. The retailer remains the seller and handles checkout, taxes, customer support, delivery and returns.
Ranking principles
Our intended comparison order starts with verified destination eligibility and the available delivered total. Unknown shipping is not treated as zero. Sponsored placements or paid promotions must be distinguished from organic comparisons. Receiving a commission does not guarantee a product is the least expensive.
Display advertising
Clearly labeled advertisements may appear after a future ad-network application is approved and suitable consent controls are implemented. There is no active display-ad code in the current prototype.
Current state
At the time of this v0.4 prototype, the sample product catalogue is illustrative and no live affiliate links or ad placements are enabled. Always check prices and terms with the retailer.
